Kuvempu Shathamanothsava Shikshana Mahavidyala (K.S.S.M) was established on 2005. It offers a 2 year fulltime Bachelor of Education degree approved by National Council Teacher Education (N.C.T.E) Bangalore. The college is affiliated to Kuvempu University, Shankaragatta. The college is Co-Educational and at present apply for has a capacity of two units. The college offers perfect educational environment for the students as well as teachers for a all round personality development.

Education is an ever increasing field. The Bachelor of Education is a must degree to get into teaching profession at the school level. The course prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (class VI to VIII), secondary level (classes IX –X) and senior secondary level classes (XI-XII).
